  2. Try To Touch
  3. Is It The Last Call?
  4. Recuerdos De Otra Edad
  5. North Bay

  7. Just Perfect Landscapes
  8. Another Earth
  9. Creando Dimensiones
"Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Biosphere, are a few of the Masters in the history of electronic music. They were the first ones to experiment with modular synthesizers in the 70′s: Monstrous instruments that could easily come from a sci-fi/horror flick. Today, 40 years later, thanks to these genius inspiration, hypnotized by their work and totally immersed in their atmospheres, Pablo collects his best atmospheric works produced between 2000 and 2010 in one album. “Motion” is a record full of aqueous movement. An internal dance to please your soul. An exquisite selection of 9 tracks that will take you on a space trip with moments full of brightness as in “Is it the last call?”, or melancholy as in “Recuerdos de otra edad”. Music speaks for itself. You only need to know how to listen to it and imagine a scenery. The journey begins." AvantRoots.com

Jon McMillion ‎– Jon McMillion LP [Nuearth Kitchen]

  1. Somebody Help Me
  2. Rotobaby
  3. Solette Simms
  4. Mane
  5. Climbing Out
  6. I Can Feel It
  7. Love Of Parking
  8. Walking Away
  9. Saw You Looking Up (Stop And Go)
"Próbując jakoś dookreślić ten album do głowy wpadają mi zestawienia niekoniecznie pasujących do siebie słów... hmmm... brzmienie oswojone, ale zestawione swobodnie i ze świeżością. powalająca łatwość generowania, czy może raczej mnogość rozwiązań kompozytorskich, istny przepych. nieco wstydliwym byłoby pyszne określenie "poszerzone spektrum twórczej świadomości", haha. Zdecydowanie rzecz godna polecenia."

  1. Into
  2. Pył

  13. Stomachs /Ankle Biter
  14. Forgetting
"Things begin slowly and primitively with howling winds and baying wolves at the door, but it isn’t until the metronomic beat drops on ‘Meat in the Markt’ that the album finds its sound. ‘2007’ is more minimal than full throttle, interested in slowly evolving changes and subtle percussive manipulations that ping and echo around the popping beat. It sounds like being in a doctor’s waiting room, and something must be very wrong with you because the walls keep closing in and rushing away..."

  16. Robert Hood - Minus
  17. Raymond Scott - Bass-Line Generator
  18. Moondog - Invocation
"When started thinking about the compilation, we had in mind the idea to put together a great minimal techno selection with stuff from the early 90s, which really inspired us, like Robert Hood, Dan Bell, Plastikman, Pansonic and Mike Ink to name a few. Whilst working on the project we had the feeling that there is so much more great and influential minimal music from way before the techno thing started.
So we were very excited to combine the music from the electronic pioneers, with the tracks from the minimal techno godfathers in a very modern way. In Minimal Music there is so much (space) in between the sounds and the space that gives you a lot of opportunities for an own interpretation.
The Grandfather Paradox is a scientific theory about time travelling and was first described by the science fiction writer Rene Barjavel in his book - Le Voyageur Imprudent. We took suggestions out of that because we felt like we are travelling back in time and manipulating the old music with modern knowledge. The fact that we did all this with the deserved respect to the originals makes us quite sure that the results are bringing something new and interesting to the old tracks and transport the past into the here and now."

RL/VL (aka Space Dimension Controller) - Chagrin [Hidden Shoal Recordings]

  1. Utility
  2. Dinosaurs
  3. Four Piece Suite
  4. Paint Covered Flags
  5. Kweens
  6. Double Bed Sleep Pain Away – Part One
  7. Double Bed Sleep Pain Away – Part Two
  8. A Lake You Could Walk On
  9. Double Bed Sleep Pain Away – Part Three
  10. Dihn
  11. Portrush
  12. Cedar Point
  13. Complaining 'Til the Bitter End
"Minimalism isn't exactly thought of as kids' stuff, though laptoppers from Aphex Twin to Four Tet are always trying to mimic childlike feelings themselves. And Raymond Scott's Soothing Sounds for Baby makes it a point to soothe via repetitions that supposedly a baby can understand. Jack Hamill aka Space Dimension Controller aka Mr. 8040, AKA RL/VL, is thankfully too young to understand the sadie-masie crawl supposedly required of minimalists, and whenever his small, melodic textures threaten to disappear they always return calmly, in themes and droves and memorable parts, from two minute intros to extended ponderings."

Muting The Noise 01 [Innervisions]

MUTING THE NOISE 01 [innervisions]

  1. Mark Pritchard & David Brinkworth - Sentience
  2. Karma - Kon Tiki
  3. Âme - Doldrums
  4. Henrik Schwarz - Arthur
  5. I:Cube - Nuées Ardentes
  6. Tokyo Black Star - Kagura
  7. Stefan Goldmann - Life After Death
  8. Terre Thaemlitz - Get In And Drive
  9. Kammerflimmer Kollektief - That's How The Light Gets In
  10. Koss - Negai
  11. Klaus Schulze - Invisible Musik

Muting the Noise isn't a traditional ambient comp in the mold of Kompakt's standard-bearer Pop Ambient series. Sure, some material aims straight for broadsheet wallpapering; both I:Cube's "Nuées Ardentes" and "Tokyo Black Star's "Kagura" mine the sort of modestly pleasant hush and flicker that leads many to write ambient off as music for the inattentive, and Japanese artist Koss' "Negai" isn't so much chilly as frozen-stiff. But beyond including material by several of the label's popular producers, much of the compilation sounds tailored for the imprint, invoking its flair for widescreen detour not via deep house but through a distinct conceptual enlarging of the moodpiece. Henrik Schwarz's "Arthur" is an adventurous clip of bumpy brokejazz, a bright smear of sub-bass, hand drums, gongs, and morning-radio piano. Stefan Goldmann's "Life After Death" centers its busted-clock sounds and blurry, time-snap textures on disorientation and pulls it off nimbly, while Kammerflimmer Kollektief's "That's How the Light Gets In" nails the wandering soul folk Finland's Fonal label has long mastered.

Philomena 08

A1: Paul Simon - Diamonds (Âme Private Edition)
B1: Global Communication - Maiden Voyage (Ripperton Edit)

The celebratory moment that Âme's edit of Paul Simon's "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes" captured is as meaningful as the music itself. The track came to prominence at the Innervisions Boiler Room takeover at ADE, where Dixon and Âme were playing back-to-back. Simon's lovelorn vocal closed the four-hour set while feathers filled the frame as attendees were pillow fighting around them. Âme's edit induces easy smiles from comparative austerity. Simon's conversational narrative and twisting cadence works wonders as an airy accompaniment to the rubbery bass, with a gentle thump and woodblocks keeping the percussion organic. Stray shakers eventually introduce a full-throated closing chant, which fades away like a celebratory parade moving into the distance. Ripperton's edit of Global Communication's "Maiden Voyage" doesn't alter so much from the original but is tweaked to shake off any chill-out room somnolence. Villalobos has been known to play a re-rub of Global Communication's classic "14:31," and the rollicking riff at the center of "Maiden Voyage" achieves an equally straightforward psychedelia. Two-note bass grumbles moves beneath a skittering melodic line as it unveils itself from silky pads. Pinched hi-hats add propulsion while resonant pianos bump up against the ongoing arpeggio.

14 remixów od Machinedrum

Travis Steward, czyli szerzej znany Machinedrum, wrzucił na swoim profilu na portalu soundcould 14 nie publikowanych dotąd nigdzie remixów swojego autorstwa z lat 2005 - 2010.

Atoms For Peace - Amok [XL Recordings]

now playing:

"Drugi w chronologicznej kolejności projekt lidera i wokalisty Radiohead, utworzony w 2009 roku.
